I've almost finished or so I thought ... I thought that I'd just
check what happens if I terminated the IBServer whilst my application
was running ... :o( Bad move ! It all worked as I'd expected until I
terminated my application ... I got something akin to a firework
display culminating in an exception that originated from GDS32.DLL ...

Is there an 'approved' way of disconnecting ... I've now found that
if I call IBconConnection.VerifyConnection prior to
IBconConnection.Disconnect then the whole process is much more
peaceful and no exceptions are thrown.

I'd also value any information regarding how to reconnect ... for
this application it isn't really needed as most of the expected
installations will be cpLocal but I'd just like to know a bit more.
