Thanks Helen ,, I new you were the one going to answer me ,, I just somehow
new :)

But for interest sake I found the problem...

Maybe I Forgot to mention this,, that error only came up when I accessed a
certain part of my
program the Lookups. I then looked and looked at those lookups doubting my
way of doing things,
WHAT I did not look at until last night was at the SQL and Table Structure.

Well here it is >>

SELECT CODE
, DESCRIPTION
FROM PAY_TERMS

the error being the word "CODE" after dropping the foreign keys pointing to
this and the index
and then renaming it ALL went well !!!!

phew ... this was a hard and costly one , it took me way too long to find
the error.
