Hi!

IBX has a TIBStringField, it seems to be better than TStringField.
IBO uses TStringField.
When I did convert some TIBQuery's to TIBOQuery's, I left intact the TIBStringFields. And It worked fine.

Is safe to do this ? (use TIBStringField with a TIBOQuery or other TIBO* component) ?

I ask the same for TIBBCDField (IBO works with TBCDField).
