Thanks again Marco. Our app is 10.6mb with some third party
components so I don't think it would be feasible to zip and send to
you. I have never noticed any problems with IBO and win98. We are
under budget restraints here (I work as an in-house programmer), so
any kind of upgrading is a slow process. I will have access to both
os's, so I could compile on both, if necessary. I find myself
rebooting many times during the day, so I'll be looking forward to a
more stable os.

with IBO and resources in Win98. Ibo, since I don't recall what
version, eats resources on Win98, so much that I had to migrate all
my customers upon Win2000. I mitigated that problem with some
patches, but, since I then went to Win2000, I did not followed this
problem anymore, and Jason does not have Win98 to test.

problem, extending to all IB_UpdateBar code my patches. I don't know
if Jason will include them in IBO official, or he thinks that Win98
is dead (and, as programmer, it's death would be really a good thing,
belive me).

have if you run Win2000 on your pc. It would be good to test if
running a IBO program on a Win98 pc is different if the program has
been compiled under Win98 or Win2000 (that should be!).

will run (the central program for their activity, not an utility or a
minor program), so I could dictate the OS to (re)install. You could
be not so lucky, but in any case Win2000 is a must today, so try to
convince them.

than VCL and IBO, you can privately send it to me zipped (if not too
big) and I will compile under Win2000 SP2, D6pro UP2, Ibo 4.2Ia (a
little modified with my last patches not already included in IBO
official, butnot affecting resources), FastReport 2.46 and send back
to you, if you want.
