Helen,
probably there is not a solution to share the resultset by both TIB_Query
and TIBOQuery. I would take quite a lot of time to describe reasons why I
inherit from the form and whe I do not create a new one. But shortly to
explain: the mentioned form has 3 predecessors in its inheritance hierarchy
and each of the predecessors add special functionality in terms of
communications with the other forms, database etc. I would have to do a deep
fork in the inheritance hirerarchy to change the TIB_Query to TIBOQuery and
then to maintain all the further changes in two hierarchy paths. I want to
avoid this.
Probably I need to rethink my design slightly.
Thank you for your time.
