you can post to 'atkin' if the email address you are posting from is
registered as a member of IBO at yahoo groups.

I had the same problem on Sunday when I posted from home, but because I'm
not registered with Yahoo groups at home, my post will have bounced.

Helen explained it to me earlier on this week under the subject 'Norms
newsgroup problem'.

From my experience it seems that the Atkin newsgroup is a read-only group.
Messages I tried posting through the NG interface never appeared in the
groups list.

Is this correct?
