I use TIBOQuery to interface to QuickReports.
IBOQuery has properties: IB_Transaction and IB_Connection.
I had tried them with TIB_Transaction and TIB_Connection, and they seem to
work correctly. But I just wanted to make sure I was adopting a correct way.
I want to avoid using TIBOTransaction and TIBODatabase if possible.

things for yourself? Look at TIBOTransaction, as well - you can make
TIBODatabase multi-transaction-capable by adding TIBOTransactions to it -
then you can associate an IBOQuery with a specific transaction. The one
thing you can't do is *replace* the internalTransaction of TIBODatabase.
