I am about there now on my largest installation and have not seen any
problems - other than the fact that I will have to tune some of my
reporting procedures so that they dont load down the server so much.

That is; If users run some of the more intensive report extraction
procedures during the middle of the day, it does have a noticable
impact of the response times of other users.

Or to put it another way. IB will handle it, provided you program
your database and clients to be efficient. There will always be
limitations on just how much work the server can do on any given
hardware.
