I have got a lot further, but am still missing something.

The first 'Execute' gives the error, but a second 'Execute' succeeds.
This is the case in IB_SQL and my sample program.

What seems to be missing is initialization of a copy of the Fields information when
the source is first opened in Pump. The second activation skips the checks and works
fine. I can't see at the moment if that is because the Fields information now
exisits, or if it is assuming that the source was already open. An explicit open of
source ( and destination ) works fine, but still gives the problem in the Pump. I've
even switched
CloneCursor off with no effect.

Can somebody please confirm that I am not the only person seeing this problem?
