Perhaps we need to take a step back...

You are using 3.6.Di.
What version of Delphi/BCB?
What operating system?

Did you recently upgrade do 3.6.Di?

Has the problem only recently appeared (or is this the first time
you've used LocateEdit)?

Are you able to setup using one of the sample applications, or perhaps
create a simple demo using the employee.gdb database that comes with
Delphi?

If you can find a way to reproduce the problem on a simple
application - then you could send that application to myself or Jason
with instructions on how to reproduce the problem. It does sound like
you may have found a bug, but unless we can reproduce it we cant find
it to fix it.

I know it can be frustrating, but I am not sure how else we can help.
