Sounds like a bug. I dont see this happen in any of my applications.
Any more information? Does it happen in all instances, all dataset
states?

In some circumstances (such as on large lookups) it can be necessary
to type slowly - otherwise the keyboard input for the next character
comes in before the record selection is finished causing a new search
to be started before everything has been setup properly. This is
something I hope to work on an smooth out eventually.

If that does not explain what you are seeing I am not sure what to
suggest. I may need a demo to understand what you are seeing.
