kept picking up the wrong set of projects ( mainly because
Borland defaults to the last project - which ever version it
was, so switching from Builder 5 to Builder 4 opened the
Builder 5 directory by default, so you have to change it ).
In order to prevent the problem I created a set of
subdirectories for Builder3, Builder4, Builder5 and Delphi
and copied all the relevent project stuff to there. Each of
the Builder directories has its own sample directory with
the start of specific samples. In order to do a 'clean'
install, I just copy the relevent project set to \IBO4 and
start working.
I suggested to Jason that the Builder set should be a
separate download, so as not to annoy Delphi users, but it
would seem that a similar approach to Delpi projects may be
a good move.
I have been side tracked at the moment. I have a crude cut
of FastReport with IBO's edit screens accessed direct from
the Report Generator. I want to get this stable because I
have a job that will benefit from it, then I can get back to
IBO itself.
