Another problem I have found that could be related to the disappearing grids
is this: Try calling the grid's SetFocus method in a form's OnShow event.
The grid will become completely unresponsive to mouse clicks or keyboard
presses. Once you click on another control that can receive input focus, and
then click back on the grid, the grid becomes responsive again.

They don't always work!

I have a couple of more instances of this problem, but I
still can't get the simple demo to go wrong. I end up having
to leave queries open because closing them and re-opening
can cause a hidden grid to disappear.

I am converting an old customer over from BDE/Interbase at
present, but will try and find some time to look at the ones
that poped up in the conversion.
