I have an application that I can enter data in sucessfully using a
local connection, i.e. server and client on same computer. However
when I attempt this over a network connection only the first record
posts and all other attempts to post result in 'Error code -804'
'SQLDA missing or incorrect version, or incorrect number/type of
variables.
This error only occurs when attempting to post a record to a master-
detail1-detail2 relationship and occurs while posting to the detail2
table. All other tables work fine.
A search of the archives indicated that this type of error can be
caused by differing versions of gds32.dll, but I have made sure that
both computers are running the same version.
OS-Win Me, D4, IB-Firebird 9.4.41, IBO 3.6Cf
Please advise.
Thanks
