I have found there is a problem accessing data using IBO on the
Windows 2000 platforms. I though it was perhaps my program - but
found today that it ran fine on Win NT 4 and Windows 98.

To test this, I downloaded the IB_WISQL executable and ran it -
connecting to databases is fine, but attempting to actually access
the database in anyway results in:-

//-------------------------------
ISC ERROR CODE:335544328

ISC ERROR MESSAGE:
invalid BLOB handle
//-------------------------------

This matches my experiences exactly - tracing into my application
shows that the error occurs in the IIB_Connection.AllocateStmtHandle
function.
