Hi all thanks for the help so far..
Im confused about the trigger thing.. When I insert a record, it doesnt seem
to activate the trigger to create a incremented customer ID

I looked at the FAQ, it mentions that the components dont have a way to tell
IB to set the trigger..

In looking at the component, (field editor) I see a property called
"AutoGenerateValue" which I cant see how it works either..
Man, theres got to be a simple way of doing this..
