It all depends on which controls you want to interact with. Standard Delphi
data aware stuff or the client/server app specialized native IBO ones. You
can also mix them together as long as it is only from the dataset/datasource
and up. Can't mix controls of two with a single dataset of either. I've
tried to look into it but it is humanly impossible to do well.
If I am doing stuff without controls then it is an easy choice to use the
native stuff because it is so much more versatile.
