Ermm...yes, it might be...but it is in the requires list of the "...XRT" package, which is in the requires list of the "...XDT" package, so, if you built (using "Build" not "Make") the packages in the right order (i.e. following the instructions in the HowToInstall.txt) it's only going to be a problem if vcldb.pas is missing.

Since the "X" packages contain the TDataset-compatible data access objects, it's a given that it needs to be there for those components...and those components won't work with versions of Delphi or CPPB that don't include the database classes.

How did you solve the problem of the missing vcldb.pas?
