When Delphi 6 has taken over, it could be done very easy as WebService
(SOAP)...
simply publish a wsdl-file, generate a proxy, and let the Delphi-classes
take over the rest.
A small XML-file can be transferred to the server, and the response could be
checked and processed.
Pretty easy to do, this :-)
