That was it, when I dropped in Dg update, I forgot to rebuild
the package, but I did a build all on the Project.

You package may not be properly recompiled.

IOW. When you compile a new app you get the new code and it works just fine.
But, if your package is still built based on the old code it won't be fine
for all design-time operations, such as opening projects.
