When we were looking for components to connect to IB around June
of last year, IBO caught our eyes when we looked in past issues of Delphi
Informant and saw IBO as best data connectivity component set. Also, we
checked around on the Delphi web sites(i.e. Delphi Super Page, Torry's
Page, Delphi Pages) and also on Interbase related web sites. The main
reason we were looking for IB components was because we were having some
degree of difficulty using IBX and IBO was simpler after testing it. The
other part that convinced us in using IBO was a benchmark comparison done
at the time.

The only piece of advice I can give you is advertise in the big
magazines(i.e. Delphi Informant, Delphi Magazine and those related to
C++Builder) and give press releases to them about the new versions.
