I tried out by putting the connection component. It does work as you have
stated. The problem starts when you put a query component and activate it.
select * from param ( this is a table in the database)

How do you connect using IB_WISQL to this database and manage it remotely ?

I have connected to linux servers on a local area networks quiet a few times
with no problems at all
This is the first time I am trying out over the Internet
