I failed to add my set-up details (as I recall from a general request in a
previous post :-) )...
The details are:
Interbase 5.6 running on a PII 350, 128MB Ram running NT 4 SP 5,

I noticed this too. I think with IB6 they broke the old way of doing it in
version 5.
