Assuming that you are using tcp/ip:

theServer:X:\your\directory\theDB.gdb

replace 'theServer' with the actual machine name
replace 'X:' with the drive letter (as seen locally on theServer)
replace the rest with the actual path to the database.
".gdb" is the customary extension, but this is not mandatory.
