Metadata had not changed for months - except putting tables from two
databases into one last November.

I'm having problems seeing things in the delphi code when running from
Builder 5 but I have at least tracked down the problem and cleared it. I
am just not sure if it is a bug or design requirement.

The From and To databases are identical, so I was only using 'SELECT *'
in all locations. Replacing with list of fields prevents the error, but
I can see no differences in the SchemaCacheDir between '*' and full
list.

Just to complete the picture I am still using Dialect 1, all field names
are UPPER_CASE with no spaces. Only reason for not changing is that
Historic data from sites will need to be converted, and I am avoiding
that for the present.
