I am having a problem with ASTA that is related to IBObjects. With
IBObjects, I could specify that a field as a string is ''. In Asta, for
some reason, this is rejected with the server using IBObjects. I did
contact Asta Tech and they said that their framework only sends SQL to
AstaServers which pass on to other databases using something IBObjects.
They said IBObject may have been providing default values. What is that
DEFault Values mechanism. Thanks.
