I think your problem has to with the way persistent fields are created
with TDataset instances.

I think this has been discussed before. Have you tried searching the
newsgroup archives or perhaps the IBO site FAQ/techsheets for
information on this topic? There may be more information available
there. (I dont use the TDataset stuff myself and I am not sure of the
correct work around.) If you cant find any help there, post again
and I will do some research into the code.
