the raw data, how would the third /99 know that you expect
the last two digits of the year to be edited.
This problem is simply the standard one of there not being a
standard <g>
IF you want to display as dd/mm/yyyy then you must edit as
that as well. Otherwise you need to have dd/mm/yy so that
the edit mask will align with it. It is the same sort of
problem as dd/mm and mm/dd again how would the edit mask
know any different.
I now just work dd/mm/yyyy and provide the calendar drop
down and my customers have got used to it.
