Builder 5, IBO 4.2.E, Firebird 1.0.0.338

OK - I've got a piece of code that has been working quite
happily for some time, but something has changed, and when I
try and debug it I am getting lost.

Simple datapump from Remote to Local database, with it's own
connection and transaction.

When I Execute it gives me 'Dataset is currently fetching'.

There is an 'OnError' at the Datapump level, and at the
connection level but neither of these are firing, and once
the problem has happened, the connection is refusing to
Rollback or Close, so I can't try again.

Any ideas where to go next?
