What's with all the unsubscribers lately?

FYI: I don't take any action on these items sent to the list, nor does the
list AFAIK. There is a standard way of unsubscribing that I expect everyone
to do. If you have any problems unsubscribing then I will take action from
an email sent privately to me explaining all that you have done to
unsubscribe and why you think it hasn't been successful.
