I've never heard of the Foundation Edition. I checked the borland
website and there's just Delphi Enterprise, Professional, and Personal
(non-commercial license). Is there something I'm missing?

Regarding TDataSet, I do need a reportwriter. So if I don't use
QuickReports then I have to purchase some other IBO-compatible
report-engine.
