Lots of ideas but they depend on what your settings are - particularly (on the detail dataset) MasterSource, MasterLinks) and (on both datasets) KeyLinks. Also, if you try to set both KeySource and Mastersource on the same relationship, the follow-on behaviour will be messed up.

If you submit details of those, along with the SQL for both datasets, lots of people will have lots of ideas...
