I have just installed version 4.2H and I have still problems with locate on text-fields. I have done some tests and found out, that the locate-method only
finds the record, when it is in the buffer. When I open the query and for example only 25 rows are in the buffer and then try to find a record with the
locate-method, nothing happens. Then I commit the transaction with CommitAction caFetchAll. Now all records are in the buffer and then the locate-method
finds the record. I hope this helps a little bit finding the bug.
