I am going to attempt to build an IBO aware version of the opensource VirtualTree component. Before anyone gets too excited, it will only have basic readonly functionality. -(

Anyway, what is my best approach. Should I follow the format of all the other IBO controls, so that sometime it could be possibly be merged with the rest of IBO, or should I just build it using more conventional techniques?

I realize this is a very open ended question, but I thought I would just get any input before I get too far into it.
