I have used Paradox tables extensively and have been using IB for the past
year or so. I am trying to come up with some rules of thumb that would help
me decide when to use Paradox and when to use IB. I just noticed that the
BDE directory is over 13MB alone. Then I go look at IB and it's bin
directory is only 5MB. And the client isn't very big either. So, should I
always use IB since it is so much more powerful and small? I know it is
kind of overkill for some projects but why mess with the BDE?
Is there an easy way to include the IB install in InstallShield along with
and app?
Any other comments and questions to consider would be appreciated.
