I leaked out onto the list that I was on my way to the hospital emergency to
see my son after an accident so I figure I better report on it in case some
of you were concerned.

My youngest son of about 20 months was in a shopping cart accident in a
local store. The whole thing fell over (thanks to his older sister's help)
and on his way down his face hit a sharp edge and gashed it wide open right
across the top of his left eye. He received 11 stitches and seems to be
doing fairly well about it. This morning his eyelid was swollen so much he
couldn't even open it. We are doing our best to care for it so that it will
scar as little as possible. Sara handled the situation quite well and all
the people around were very helpful and supportive.

Oh the joys of being a parent!
