The answer depends on which 9x version you are using.
First question, do those machines actually have modems on? If not, just
remove dialer, windows seems to think it needs to add it anyway,
probably part of the 'You must join MSN' package.
The next question, is version related. 98SE seems to have the means of
disabling the dialer for local addresses, but this is missing on 95 and
98FE. We ended up up-issuing the machines, but I can't find the notes at
the moment on how to actually doing it. It is somewhere in the 98SE
help.
