I fully agree.
Online help is nice, but with links within the PDF it is now possible to
offer all the features of online help within the pdf.
But to me a getting started guide is best as a book. It is something that I
would carry around with me for a week and read whenever I had a spare
moment. That way I get a much better idea about what the product can do and
so when I am at the PC I am much more focused. I don't have the time to
spend at the PC learning new things at the moment but I do have a lot of
wasted time away from the PC.
I now know enough about Interbase not to buy the help version, but I would
spend the money to gain further knowledge in my wasted moments.
Best regards,
Shane
