You should not get an AV. So either there is something wrong with
your installation or you have found a bug.

Check that you dont have old version files hanging around and make
sure you ALWAYS do a full rebuild of packages when updating in BCB.
(I dont know if v5 always requires this, but I know that v3 and v4 can
give all sorts of problems unless you always do a full build of Delphi
packages - not just make.)

If this does not resolve the problem, then I would suggest you put
together a demo of the problem and send to... Hmmm, cant send it to
me, I dont have v5 yet, not sure if Jason does - I guess he will let
you know.
