Subject Re: [IBO] OT: Question - VCS System - who uses CVS?

I think things have changed - FreeVCS is feq. updated - as I understand it
it uses ICS MidWare components - and we are running the IB6 (IBX no BDE)
app.server without problems.

The FVCSAppSrv is ca. 1Mb and the Client (standalone or/and IDE) is 2Mb.

I know the ideal would be a IBO based FVCSAppSrv and maybe Indy 8 inside :
-) - but coming from PVCS - this is like exchanging my old bike to a Free
Car with unlimited milage :-). It is fast and well integrated - and for
non-Delphi related projects we use the Standalone version.

The only thing I could complain about is how the SMTP notify part currently
is implemented - it is not the AppSrv which monitors and notifies changes,
but the clients.

But if I had the spare time, I could change the AppSrv to use IBO and do
the SMTP notification :-), since the source is avail.

just 2 more c's from me.
