Hi,
The main problem I see in FreeVCS is that it lacks a hierarchical
organization/view of the project. It makes the project "flat". I'm used to
using Visual Source Safe and organizing my project into a neat set of
folders for documentation, test data, sources, images, etc.

We just switched to FreeVCS - which is the perfect match for Delphi using
the IDE Expert version - the product is Freeware - and the middle tier is
even avail. in source-code form, which enables you to port it to whatever
flavour of database backend you like - InterBase has been done (with and
without the BDE!) and we run it against an IB 6.0 server.
I have no idea if the IDE Expert will be recompiled under Kylix, but the
developer (Thomas Hensle) is very responsive and true Delphi-believer - so
I guess this will happen.
Take a look http://www.freevcs.de - Highly recommendable.

Sourcesafe) but with kylix coming soon - i thought about switching - any
