Many thanks for your comments , Jason.
Unfortunately, the ODBC driver used with IB 5.6 does not give the ability to
lock your record during update.
Pessimist or optimist parameter set up gives the same 'bad' answer , about the
lock;
It seems that the odbc driver do not give the same benefit than a direct access
and IB functions.
No other way to let IB doing the lock processing during the UPDATE.
