Hi,
I have a paradox database that I'm using at work with the language
set to Pdox ANSI Greek. When I try to convert it to Interbase with
the datapump utility all the Greek characters are replaced by # so
it's useless for me since all the records are in Greek. When I try
writing a delphi program to perform the convertion I get this error
message "Arithmetic overflow or division by zero has
occurred.arithmetic exception, numeric overflow, or string truncation.
Cannot transliterate character between character sets."
I tried manually inserting english records through delphi and it
works but I get exactly the same error message when I try to insert a
greek record. I'm using Firebird 1.5RC9 with the database language
set to Unicode.
If anyone has met a similar problem with another language and can
help I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
Regards,
Michael
