Same results with FlameRobin 0.7.6 on Ubuntu 7.10 and with version
0.8.3 on Gentoo Linux: if I try to backup a database, I get the
error message "Engine Code: 336330817, Engine Message: Cannot open
backup file ..." with the name of the backup file I chose in
the "backup file" dialog.
With 0.8.3 on Windows XP the backup is no problem.
Restoring works with both FlameRobin/Linux versions.
This might be a permission problem, but I can do the backup using
gbak directly, as the same OS user, as the same Firebird user with
the same Firebird password, into the same location.
So what's wrong here? What sort of additional information should I
give?
Thank you,
Herta
