May be a naive question, but can't this list ( and all other FB ones)
simply be set as 'not moderated' but registered users only ?

That way a moderator would not eat his/hers vluable time while affording
some level of spam blocking. For those of us who elect tohave a dayli
digest, there is no way we can get rid of the spam.
