This depend of how long do you need to wait. FB4 is not released. 

After released it can contain some buggs then probably you must wait some more time.

This is the same as all other software. Should i upgrade windows xp to win7 or directly go to win10? Today win10 but 2 years ago the answer will be different.

You must decide and especially test "all" before use.
