Hi All,

I want to connect the Firebird database with Entity Framework Model. Completed the successful installation and created the database. But, I am facing some issues while connecting the firebird with entity model.

* Updated the values like below. But facing the issue ‘Unable to load dll ‘fbembed’ ’

 

* Now I updated the client library ‘fbclient.dll’ in advanced option like below



* But, now I am facing the error ‘Index was outside the bounds of the array’


Could you please help me to get rid of these issues and get a successful connection? Is there any detailed document available for this?

- Firebird v3.0.4
- Firebird client v4.10.0.0
- DDEX provider version 3.0.2.0
- Visual Studio 2015

I followed the steps as suggested in this link. But I choose 'Embedded Server' as server type.https://firebirdsql.org/file/documentation/reference_manuals/fbdevgd-en/html/fbdg30-efw-vs-prepare.html

Also, I tried with the latest Firebird client version (v6.4.0). But, Now even ‘Firebird Data Sources’ was not listed in the Data Sources list.
