Hi .
I'm migrating from v2.5.8 to v 3.0.3.2900 . From LI-V2.5.8.27089 Firebird 2.5 to LI-V3.0.3.32900 Firebird 3.0 (debian stretch (9) ).
As for "application level and services" I have no issues so far.
What is worrying me is restore a db with local users, as I cannot do it even with server SYSDBA user. I backup with no issues, but I haven't figure how to restore the db.
root@camaleeon:/opt/firebird/bin# ./gbak -user SYSDBA -password 'mypassword' -c -v -se service_mgr mybackup-file.fbk myhost:mydb
gbak:opened file mybackup.fbk
gbak:transportable backup -- data in XDR format
gbak: backup file is compressed
gbak:backup version is 10
gbak: ERROR:unavailable database
gbak: ERROR: failed to create database myhost:mydb
gbak: ERROR: Exiting before completion due to errors
gbak:Exiting before completion due to errors
I also create that database with same name and those local users .
Any help, appreciated .
Regards
Pablo
