Personally, I like mailing groups.

The speed of getting answers is much greater than on regular web forums.

At the beginning I was skeptical but I have been using this form for many years and I see more pros than cons of this form of communication.

 

And as someone rightly stated, one can consider a change if the current form will work worse and worse.

 

But that's just my humble opinion.
