I am wondering about the level of support in Firebird's implementation of Win_Sspi as I can not find specific documentation.

If anyone can point me to a source document I would greatly appreciate it.

The situation I have is a heterogeneous  mixture of platforms within a corporate environment.  

All the machines are joined to a windows active directory domain.

We have a mixture of linux, windows, mac and chrome/android devices that all fully support the domain via samba4/pam.

What I am looking to do is to integrate the user authentication in firebird into the AD authentication process.

My question is, has anyone been able to authenticate a windows client against a linux hosted firebird database using win_sspi?

Is there any documentation? Any help would be appreciated.
